The Thinking Mind in Speech
With easily obtained information that is available all around us, we have shrunk from a thinking creature to an ‘information-absorbing’ creature. Do you think this is a curse instead? Thinking is the most fascinating of all mental exercises, the least a person trains his mind makes him a weak-willed person, but for somebody who trains his mind everyday, you better be afraid, truly afraid for such is a strong-willed person, somebody who can change the world for the better.
Habitual thinking comes from doing the same thing repeatedly. ‘All in all, by doing the same thing for a period of 21 days, it will turn into a habit,’ says Robin Sharma. I don’t know, because I have lost counts, but anyway persistent in practices will soon help you to think deeper into a subject whereas now you only have been thinking on the surface.
Since thinking is a mental exercise, once making full use of it, you will be able to draw a definite conclusion of your own between what Mr. Abraham says and what Mr. Brian writes. Hence, you could boost your own self-confidence in your ability to speak on that subject, and as for your thought would have given you the very much needed power.
“Don’t give me the man who thinks he thinks,
Don’t give me the man who thinks he knows,
But give me the man who knows he thinks,
And I have the man who knows he knows.”
